What to expect

  1. Boyana Church

    30 min

This is the best representative of Medieval art, known as the Palaiologan Renaissance where one can appreciate the first ideas of the upcoming Italian Renaissance with all its major features and characteristics! A UNESCO site since 1979, recognized all around the world!

  2. National Museum of History

    1 hour 10 min

The museum itself is housed in a significant building from the socialist period of the Republic of Bulgaria, where in a nice and appropriate way, very professionally and visitor friendly are exhibited artifacts dating from the seventh millennium BCE up to the times of World War II. The major attraction here is the Panaguyrishte Thracian Golden treasure, weighing over 6 kg of 24-carat gold!

  3. St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral

    20 min

One of the most significant Orthodox churches in South-Eastern Europe, a must-see when in the capital of Bulgaria. An amazing structure in the name of God, with fantastic post-Byzantine architecture, fully painted with murals walls and shiny gold-plated domes!

  4. Ancient Serdica Archaeological Complex

    15 min

The ruins represent part of the Roman history of Sofia, although later on, we will learn that the city is much older. The complex shows original commercial streets and areas, ruins from an old Roman bath, a hypocaust (heating system) invented by the Romans, etc.

  5. The Rotunda Church of St George

    15 min

The oldest preserved building in Sofia, dating from the time when Constantine the Great was ruling the Easter Roman Empire from his seat in Serdica. A remarkable church, still in function, where we will learn more about the Roman history of the city.

  6. Ivan Vazov National Theater

    10 min

Perhaps one of the most beautiful buildings in Sofia and in Bulgaria, bearing the quality of the neoclassical architecture, located in the first city park. Some interesting facts about symbols and their use.

  7. Mineral water springs

    5 min

The wealth of Sofia and Bulgaria! This is the biggest by-flow mineral water spring in the city center of Sofia, you will be amazed to understand how deeply it has been captivated as well as taste its water!

  8. Former Bulgarian Communist Party Headquarters

    10 min

No doubt this is the major building in the city, built with the same exact intention! It is a part of a whole complex with its twin brothers' buildings of the Constitutional Court of Bulgaria and the Presidency opposite. All of the built-in the years before Stalin's death reminds us of the strong hand of Communism!

  9. 1 hour 30 min

Here you can try some original traditional recipes in a nice authentic environment. You will be given a choice of meals, inclusive of vegetarian. Typically water is included, while soft drinks and/or alcohol (beer, wine, spirits) is at your own cost.
